Abbeyfield Loughton Society

Welcome to our website

You can always rely on a warm welcome at an Abbeyfield House as soon as you come through the front door. Everyone that comes into Rider House comments on the lovely atmosphere and we’d like you to share it too.

Our sheltered accommodation in Loughton offers you the opportunity to maintain your independence with the addition of security, companionship and peace of mind.

Located in Loughton the house was built in 1972 and is very well appointed being walking distance to the local High Street where there are cafes, restaurants, banks and plenty of shops. There is a bus stop a few yards from the front door and the underground station is nearby. There is also a taxi cab office nearby.

At Rider House we pride ourselves on offering a caring and friendly environment where you'll be supported by our wonderful staff. As providers of supported living accommodation, we have a team of caring staff to look after you and provide delicious, nutritious meals. Each room and ensuite has a 24 hour alarm system fitted which is operated by pendant or pull cord, offering that added peace of mind, plus there is always someone on site overnight.

We're there for you when you need us.

Choosing to live in an Abbeyfield Supported Living House means you can maintain your independence without the burden of running a home.
